Problem Note 68130: Opening a report URL on a mobile device might direct you to add the wrong server to the SAS® Visual Analytics App

Report URLs are often delivered by email. If you click that report URL on a mobile device, it launches the SAS Visual Analytics App. If the server is not already added to the app, you are prompted to add the server. In some configurations, the CAS server is presented instead of the SAS Visual Analytics server. This behavior prevents the report from being subscribed to on the SAS Visual Analytics App.

Post Hot Fix Installation Step

  1. After you apply the software update, follow the instructions in the Configure an Additional External URL section in the SAS® Viya® 3.5 Administration guide.
  2. Add the following JVM property by following the instructions in SAS Note 60681, "Using SAS® Environment Manager to add JVM properties to SAS® Viya™ services:"
    Name: java_option_sasmobilehost
    Value: -Dsas.links.custom.sasmobileHost= YourVAServer  (example: -Dsas.links.custom.sasmobileHost= sasviya.xyz.com)
