When you are searching for text in a specific field (a fielded query), you can configure whether SAS Visual Investigator shows text snippets. The same is not true for unfielded queries (which is searching without specifying a particular field).

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note for a link to instructions about accessing and applying the software update.

After you apply the hot fix, the parameter textQueryAllFields will search in text fields when it is set to off.
