Problem Note 68060: SAS® Visual Data Builder generates incorrect SQL procedure code for scheduled queries
SAS Visual Data Builder might generate incorrect PROC SQL code for scheduled queries. When this issue occurs, table references, column names, or both might be referenced incorrectly in the PROC SQL code. It is important to verify the generated code because the incorrect references might not generate warnings or errors, and they can introduce a data integrity concern.
This issue can occur when you schedule a new query or modify a migrated or promoted query. The problem is more likely to occur if the query joins two or more tables or it includes conditional column definitions that result in CASE statements in the generated PROC SQL code.
When this issue occurs, contact SAS Technical Support for assistance.
