The haf_member table within SAS Health: Cohort Builder 2.1.1 supports custom columns, but any custom column that is defined with the same base name as a required column cannot be exported.

For example, the custom column name year_of_birth_no has the same base name (year_of_birth) as the required column name year_of_birth. 

In the example above, the export generates two separate year_of_birth columns, and the export subsequently fails.
