You might encounter an issue in which report objects that are filtered by a single value slider might not return any values. This issue occurs when the slider is based on a date item with the Year,Week format.

For example, you might encounter this issue if you complete steps similar to the following:

1. Create a report in SAS Visual Analytics that contains a single value slider and a list table. The list table is filtered by the slider. The slider is based on a date data item with the Year,Week format.
2. Select a value in the slider. For example, 22W01. Note: No values appear in the table.

3. Duplicate the page and replace the slider with a drop-down list control. Then, the list table displays values for the same value, 22W01:

4. Return to the page with the slider in your report and try to drag the slider on the right so that you pick up the “first value” for 22W01.Then data is available for 22W01:

However, you might not be able to find the correct value in the slider to display the values correctly in the list table based on how many values your date data item contains.

To work around this problem, do one of the following:

• Select a format for the date data item other than Year,Week.
• Replace the single value slider with a range slider or with another control.
