Problem Note 68672: An XML file that is read by using the AUTOMAP= option with the XMLV2 LIBNAME engine cannot be deleted within the SAS® session
When an XML file is read by using the XMLV2 engine and creating an XMLMap file using the AUTOMAP= option, the XML file cannot be deleted until the SAS session has ended. Whether you use the FDELETE function within the SAS session, or you attempt to manually delete the file from the operating system, the file cannot be deleted.
