Problem Note 68467: A search for a field name fails in SAS® Visual Investigator with the error "The query contains syntax errors"
A standard way to search for information in the interface is to use a field name whose value you want to search for. However, if another entity has the same field name, and the data type is different (an integer instead of a string, for example), the search fails. You then see the following error message:
The query contains syntax errors.
