Problem Note 68385: The error "...Invalid zero width row size" occurs when you read data from Hadoop into SAS®
When you read data from Hadoop, it might fail with an error similar to the following:
Streaming read DISABLED: The original HiveQL succeeded where the streaming read CTAS failed
ERROR: Fetch error: Invalid zero width row size.
Note: The "Streaming read DISABLED" portion of the error message occurs only when the SASTRACE option is enabled.
The error can occur when SAS attempts to read the data from Hadoop using the Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) read method if the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) Read method fails.
A hot fix is planned for this issue.
