Problem Note 68173: Report linking is broken after a SAS® Visual Analytics report is imported into a new environment
If you link a SAS Visual Analytics report to another report that uses a different data source, you must map data items in the source report to data items in the target report. However, when you import a report that contains this type of external data source mapping, the mapping might be removed.
This problem can occur if you change either the SAS® Cloud Analytic Services (CAS) server or library when you import the report into the target environment. The information about the server or the library is not updated to match the new environment. As a result, the mapping is removed because it is no longer valid. When this problem occurs, you must re-create the data mapping in the report after it is imported.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note for a link to instructions about accessing and applying the software update.
The hot fix will not repair reports that have already been imported with broken links. You must delete the broken reports, and then reimport them after the hot fix is applied.
