When you click New Model in SAS^® Model Manager and then click Choose location for the Location field, Public is not on the list of choices. You encounter this issue if you are not a member of the SAS Administrators group.

To work around this issue, complete the following steps:

1. In SAS^® Environment Manager, click Content.
2. Navigate to Folders ► SAS Content ► Model Repositories.
3. Select Public, and then right-click and select Edit Authorizations. 
4. Change the authorizations for Authenticated Users as shown below:
