In SAS Visual Text Analytics 8.5, you might notice that performance slows down when you use the Categories score code. When you run the applyCategory action in the CAS procedure on very large number of observations, the performance of the action is affected.   

To work around this problem, run multiple scoring codes on subsets of the entire data set.
