Problem Note 67778: Views that are created with SAS® Federation Server might lose alias names for columns

In SAS Federation Server, you can create views from your SAS data sets, and you can give alias names to your columns. The following code provides an example:
create view ViewA as
select col1 as alias1
from mysasds;
select col1 as alias1
from mysasds;
However, when you try to query this type of view using the SAS® Federation Server Driver, you might see an error similar to the following:
ODBC: ERROR [42S22] Column "col1" not found or cannot be accessed.
