Problem Note 67707: Unexpected characters might be appended to the end of a value on a string variable in a Google BigQuery table when it is read into SASĀ® software
Unexpected characters might be appended to the end of a value on a string variable in a Google BigQuery table when it is read into SAS under the following conditions:
- The SCANSTRINGCOLUMNS=YES LIBNAME or data set option is included.
- The DIRECT_SQL=NO LIBNAME option is included.
The workaround for this option is to use SCANSTRINGCOLUMNS=NO or DIRECT_SQL=YES.
