Problem Note 67701: The %DCM_BUILD_SUBJECTCONTACT_SIM_ABT macro fails with the error "BY variables are not properly stored on data set" in SAS® Intelligent Decisioning

In SAS Intelligent Decisioning, the %DCM_BUILD_SUBJECTCONTACT_SIM_ABT macro reads the output tables that are produced by the %DCM_GET_SUBJECTCONTACT_HISTORY macro, and it builds an analytical base table (ABT) by using the data in those output tables. When you run the %DCM_BUILD_SUBJECTCONTACT_SIM_ABT macro, it might fail with the following error:

ERROR: By variables are not properly sorted on data set WORK.NG_ATTRIBUTES

ERROR: Function STRIP requires a character expression as argument1.

ERROR: File WORK.IN_OVS.DATA does not exist.

ERROR: File WORK.NO_OV.DATA does not exist.

ERROR: File WORK._UNIQUE_ATTRIBUTE.DATA does not exist.

ERROR: No data set open to look up variables.

ERROR: File WORK.FNL_UNE_ATTRIBUTES.DATA does not exist.

ERROR: File WORK._ATTRIBUTE_DETAIL.DATA does not exist.
