Problem Note 67673: The OK button is disabled when you attempt to select a scenario-fired event for re-investigation in SASĀ® Visual Investigator
A capability of the application is the ability to re-investigate an entity that has events noted against it by scenarios (referred to as scenario-fired events). When you attempt to re-investigate, part of the process is to select the scenario-fired event from a list. However, when you attempt to select the scenario-fired event, you cannot complete the re-investigation activity because the OK button is not active.
The following steps are known to result in this problem. For this example, the entity name is Customer.
- Configure the Customer entity page so that the manual alert button is added. In the configuration of this manual alert toolbar item, select Prompt the user to select scenario-fired events. Save the toolbar item and the page.
- Sign in to the SAS Visual Investigator investigation application.
- Close one of the alerts noted for Customer.
- From the search page, enter criteria so that "Customer" is in the results list.
- Begin a re-investigation for Customer. However, you are not able to select the scenario-fired event because the OK button is inactivated.
