Problem Note 67673: The OK button is disabled when you attempt to select a scenario-fired event for re-investigation in SAS® Visual Investigator

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

A capability of the application is the ability to re-investigate an entity that has events noted against it by scenarios (referred to as scenario-fired events). When you attempt to re-investigate, part of the process is to select the scenario-fired event from a list. However, when you attempt to select the scenario-fired event, you cannot complete the re-investigation activity because the OK button is not active.

The following steps are known to result in this problem. For this example, the entity name is Customer.

  1. Configure the Customer entity page so that the manual alert button is added. In the configuration of this manual alert toolbar item, select Prompt the user to select scenario-fired events. Save the toolbar item and the page.
  2. Sign in to the SAS Visual Investigator investigation application.
  3. Close one of the alerts noted for Customer.
  4. From the search page, enter criteria so that "Customer" is in the results list.
  5. Begin a re-investigation for Customer. However, you are not able to select the scenario-fired event because the OK button is inactivated.
