Problem Note 67670: Incremental indexing fails with a NullPointerException in SAS® Visual Investigator

By design, you can index only added and deleted external data items, instead of re-indexing all items. That process is referred to as incremental indexing. Part of the incremental indexing process is tracking child-to-parent relationships. Incremental indexing might fail when the foreign key from parent to child is null.
