Problem Note 67531: SAS® Health: Cohort Builder 2.1 - Data source registration process fails for files not encoded as UTF-8
SAS Health: Cohort Builder 2.1 requires all incoming data to be in the UTF-8 encoding format.
Data files that are not in the required UTF-8 format should be flagged and reported as being incompatible as part of the data source registration process.
The current behavior is that the data source registration process fails for files that are not in the UTF-8 format, and the PDF report that is produced is empty.
A fix has been introduced in SAS® Health: Cohort Builder 2.1.1 to allow the registration process to complete without failure and successfully produce a PDF file containing any files that do not meet the UTF-8 format requirement.
