Problem Note 67527: The “Always obtain the total record count for DBMS tables” option might not be honored in SAS® Enterprise Guide®

When selecting the Always obtain the total record count for DBMS tables option in SAS® Enterprise Guide® 7.15 and earlier, you are able to display the total count of rows when scrolling the database management system (DBMS) table:
Starting with SAS® Enterprise Guide® 8.x, you might not be able to display the total count of rows when scrolling the DBMS table even if the Always obtain the total record count for DBMS tables option is selected. Instead, you see behavior similar to the following:
