Problem Note 67355: The RSUBMIT pull-down menu in the SAS® 9.4M7 Windows Enhanced Editor fails with a "Read Access Violation"
When you use the RSUBMIT pull-down menu from the SAS 9.4M7 (TS1M7) Windows Enhanced Editor, it fails with the following message:
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.
Please contact technical support and provide them with the following traceback information:
The SAS task name is [Enhanced Editor]
ERROR: Read Access Violation Enhanced Editor
Exception occurred at (BFF7355D)
Here are the workarounds for this issue:
- Wrap the code in "RSUBMIT;" and "ENDRSUBMIT;" instead of using the pull-down menu.
- Use the pull-down menu from the Program Editor instead of from the Enhanced Editor.
