Problem Note 67335: Selecting "Properties" for a Remote Library Services SAS® library fails in the SAS® 9.4M7 (TS1M7) Explorer window

Selecting Properties for a Remote Library Services (RLS) SAS data set might fail in the SAS 9.4M7 Explorer window.
The error that you see depends on SAS session settings for the double-byte character set (DBCS) option and the single-byte character set (SBCS) option.
If the SAS client session is using the SBCS option, then you see the following error:
WARNING: File libref.SAS data set.DATA does not exist.
If the SAS client session is using the DBCS option and the client is using the DBCS option, then you see the following error:
ERROR: Unexpected ERROR from SHRWTSK1 detected by TERMINATE WORK TASK in "DMS Process"(1): ERROR: Generic critical error.
A workaround is to use View Columns instead of Properties.
