Problem Note 67255: A Teradata connection error is generated when you append data to a Teradata table in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio

In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, you might see a Teradata connection error when you append data in the same table to which all Communication nodes write concurrently.

When this problem occurs, you might see the following error message in the SASCustIntelCore6.6.log file for at least one Communication node:

NOTE: The data set CDM.EXPORT has . observations and 37 variables.

TERADATA: trforc: COMMIT WORK

Summary Statistics for TERADATA are:

Total SQL prepare seconds were: 0.033401

Total seconds used by the TERADATA ACCESS engine were 0.425457

ERROR: Teradata connection: Table 'EXPORT' already exists. Correct

error and restart as an APPEND process with option TPT_RESTART=YES. Since no

checkpoints were taken, if the previous run used FIRSTOBS=n, use the same value in the restart.

NOTE: Statements not processed because of errors noted above.

If you execute the failing Communication node manually after the error occurs, the process completes.
