Problem Note 67211: Text labels on tabs at the bottom of the SAS® 9.4M7 (TS1M7) windowing environment are slightly cropped and not fully displayed
In the SAS 9.4M7 windowing environment, the text labels for the Output, Log, and Editor tabs are clipped so that the labels are not completely displayed. At the bottom of the window, the text labels are slightly truncated at the bottom (so that a small portion of the tab text at the bottom of the tab is not visible).
To circumvent the issue, modify your SAS 9.4 start-up icon to run SAS in Microsoft Windows 7 compatibility mode. To do this, perform the steps below.
- Right-click the start-up icon for SAS 9.4 and then choose Properties.
- Select the Compatibility tab.
- In this window, in the Compatibility mode section, enable the following option: Run this program in compatibility mode for.
- Choose Windows 7 from the drop-down menu.
- Click Apply and then OK.
Invoking SAS with this modified SAS 9.4 start-up icon should circumvent the issue.
