SQL procedure pass-through code that is generated by SAS® Data Integration Studio might fail with errors when the options that are specified for database management system (DBMS) library definitions in the metadata are incorrectly included or omitted from the CONNECT statement.
One workaround for this issue is as follows:
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
When the hot fix is applied, a new option, Use Connect Using Syntax, appears under Job Properties on the Options tab. Setting the Use Connect Using Syntax option to Yes will alter the code generation so that the CONNECT USING statement is generated instead of a CONNECT statement. The CONNECT USING statement automatically includes the appropriate options that are defined for the DBMS library in metadata.
