In SAS Visual Analytics, you can create calculated items that contain custom intersections. When editing them, you might be unable to click the OK button.

This problem might occur in the following scenario:

1. Create a new report and add a new calculated item similar to the following:

2. Click the plus (+) icon in the calculated item to add custom intersections, as shown in the following display:

3. Add a formula. For example: Sum [_ByGroup_] ('Cylinders'n) as shown in the following display:

4. Save and close the calculated item.
5. Edit the calculated item and select Base expression.
6. Add a new operator into the formula such as x+y and modify the formula. Note: The OK button is now unavailable, as shown here:
