Problem Note 67045: The length of a VARCHAR variable in a table view is incorrectly listed as 0 when the original data source is a Postgres file
The CASUTIL procedure with the CONTENTS statement shows an incorrect length of 0 for VARCHAR variables when the original source is a Postgres file.
This issue happens only when the Postgres file is loaded into SAS® Cloud Analytic Services (CAS) and you then create a view from the table.
This problem does not occur with a view that is created from a table where the original source file is not a Postgres file.
