Problem Note 67030: SAS® Data Remediation fails to perform tasks in a workflow in the Administration UI
After an upgrade to SAS® Task Manager 2.4, you observe that a workflow in SAS Data Remediation fails with a message that is similar to the following error:
Unable to complete the action. The task may be out of date and will be refreshed.
Other error details also appear in the SASTaskManager.log file. The default location for this file is SAS-configuration-directory/Web/Logs/SASServer13_1:
…com.sas.workflow.framework.client.WorkflowServiceException: Permission denied for Operation task-status
This issue is caused when the Identity property that is assigned for the swimlane of the task is the Group Name participant type in SAS® Workflow Studio. A workaround is to assign a User Name participant type instead.
