Problem Note 67962: The E-Mail selection on the "More options" menu is not working in SAS® Studio 5.2 (Enterprise), and a message about an internal server error occurs

The More options ► E-Mail functionality might not send email from the user interface. The UI option is shown here:
This issue occurs when the build date for your SAS Studio 5.2 (Enterprise) release is September 16, 2020, or later.
The network developer tools show a return code of 500 in POST /SASStudioV/sasexec/session-ID/share/mail.
Also, the SASStudioV log file shows null pointer exceptions along with a message similar to the following:
