Problem Note 67562: Pasting children (via Paste Special > All Children) in SAS® Merchandise Planning fails when the source data is a custom time-frame data
In SAS Merchandise Planning, a warning might appear after you try to paste children (by selecting Paste Special ► All Children) into a working plan KPI. This problem occurs when the source for the data is from a data version that represents a custom time frame.
When the problem happens, no warning or error is written to the log. However, a pop-up message is displayed indicating that the source cells cannot be pasted to the selected target cells.
You can resolve this problem by using one of the following methods:
- Seed the data when the worksheet first opens.
- Reference the data (if it exists) with a version group or specific plan reference.
- Reference the data with the standard time dimensions (TY,LY,LLY,LLLY)
