Problem Note 67177: Deployment of a stored process as a SAS® BI Web Service fails with the error "com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxUnexpectedCharException: Unexpected character..."

When you deploy a stored process as a SAS BI Web Service in SAS® Management Console, you receive the following error message:
The was an error parsing the response from the web server. This usually indicates that the web server returned and invalid message or encountered an internal error.
This problem occurs when the stored process uses an XML data source and you use SAS® 9.4M7 (TS1M7) in the AIX operating environment.
If you expand the details of the error, you also see the following exception:
com.ctc.wstx.exc.WstxUnexpectedCharException: Unexpected character 'd' (code 100) after '<!' (malformed comment?) at [row,col {unknown-source}]: [1,3]
