Problem Note 67148: The message "ERROR: CLI prepare error...ERROR: unterminated quoted string at or near "'\'" occurs when you use an escape character

When you use an escape character as part of an SQL procedure query, an error is received. For example, the following PROC SQL step triggers the below error:
proc sql;
select * from redshift-libref.test where col2 like 'test_%' escape '\';
quit;
select * from redshift-libref.test where col2 like 'test_%' escape '\';
quit;
ERROR: CLI prepare error: [SAS][ODBC Redshift Wire Protocol driver][Redshift]ERROR: unterminated quoted string at or near "'\'
