The CASUTIL procedure with the CONTENTS statement shows an incorrect length of 0 for VARCHAR variables when the original source is a Postgres file.  

This issue happens only when the Postgres file is loaded into SAS^® Cloud Analytic Services (CAS) and you then create a view from the table. 

This problem does not occur with a view that is created from a table where the original source file is not a Postgres file.
