Problem Note 66984: The MDC procedure issues an error message if TYPE=HEV or TYPE=MPROBIT and an ID statement is not specified
PROC MDC fails to produce model estimates and issues an incorrect error message if the TYPE=HEV or TYPE=MPROBIT option is specified in the MODEL statement and the ID statement is omitted.
Below are examples of the incorrect error messages:
ERROR: The CHOICE= variable contains redundant alternatives.
ERROR: The value of choice variable is not included in the choice set.
To avoid this problem, specify an ID statement.

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
When the ID statement is omitted and the TYPE=HEV or TYPE=MPROBIT option is specified in the MODEL statement in PROC MDC, an incorrect error message is issued in the log.
