In SAS Intelligent Decisioning, the DATAGRID_GETDOUBLE() function returns a missing value instead of a null value. Because missing values and null values are different, unforeseen consequences can occur downstream in the flow.
To work around this issue, you can use the DATAGRID_GET() function, which relies on implicit type conversion.
