Problem Note 66911: A CHAR variable with a length of 32,767 occurs after you use PROC CASUTIL to save a CAS table that contains a VARCHAR variable with missing values
An issue can occur after you use the CASUTIL procedure to save a SAS® Cloud Analytic Services (CAS) table with any VARCHAR variables that have missing values. If any variables are defined as VARCHAR and have a missing value in every row, and you save the table to a SAS7BDAT file, the column with all missing data then results in a CHAR variable with a length of 32,767.
