Usage Note 66888: SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Microsoft SQL now supports the PRESERVE_GUID LIBNAME option
The LIBNAME option PRESERVE_GUID is now supported with SAS/ACCESS Interface to Microsoft SQL.
The option specifies whether to return GUID data type columns embedded inside of curly brackets: { }
Syntax
PRESERVE_GUID=YES | NO
Syntax Description
YES removes the brackets that are around the GUID: 6F9619FF-8B86-D011-B42D-00C04FC964FF
NO retains the brackets that are around the GUID: {6F9619FF-8B86-D011-B42D-00C04FC964FF}
Example:
Libname sqllib sqlsvr dsn=mydsn user=myuser pw=mypasswd PRESERVE_GUID=NO;
