Problem Note 66829: SAS® Marketing Automation campaigns that use treatments and the Teradata Common Data Model return an index violation error
In SAS Marketing Automation, the following index violation is returned when you have campaigns that use treatments and that have the Common Data Model in a Teradata database. The error that is shown here is just part of the error that is displayed in the SAS® Customer Intelligence core log.
ERROR: Teradata insert: Secondary index uniqueness violation in cdm.CI_TREATMENT_CHAR_UDF
The problem does not happen all the time. Specifically, it happens when a treatment is used in two or more communications of the same campaign and the campaign tries to insert both instances of the treatment at the same time.
