Problem Note 66826: Support for Cloudera Data Platform 7.1 added to SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Hadoop in SAS® 9.4M6 (TS1M6) and 9.4M7 (TS1M7)
Full support for Cloudera Data Platform 7.1 is available in SAS® 9.4M6 (TS1M6) and SAS® 9.4M7 (TS1M7) for SAS/ACCESS Interface to Hadoop after you apply the hot fix that is associated with this SAS Note.
This hot fix includes full support for the Cloudera branded Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) driver in place of the open-source JDBC driver that SAS uses by default. This driver is available as a free download from Cloudera and yields much improved performance over the open-source driver.
Also included is an engine update to avoid timeouts on Hive when reading or writing large tables.
