Problem Note 66734: You cannot add a value to a date range in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio when you change the locale to something other than an English locale

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, an error message is generated when you add a number to a date range. This problem happens when you perform steps similar to the following:

  1. In SAS® Management Console, create a prompt of type Date range, with a From value of N weeks ago:

Create a prompt of type 'Date range'

  2. In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, change the locale to something other than an English locale.

  3. Add the prompt that you created to a Process node inside a diagram.

  4. From the drop-down list, select Vor N Wochen (N weeks ago):

    Select 'Vor N Wochen'

  5. Change N to an actual number (for example, 4) and click OK:

    Change the number

When you complete these steps, a dialog box is displayed with a message saying that the value is invalid:

Message saying that the value is invalid

However, these steps work if you change to an English locale.

As a workaround, use the calendar icon to choose the week.
