Usage Note 66602: The default minimum values for the lock and unlock preference settings in SAS® Anti-Money Laundering might be too restrictive
Hot Fix 7 for SAS Anti-Money Laundering added Lock and Unlock buttons to the Customer Entities, Cases, CDD Reviews, and Regulatory Reports pages. The default lock and unlock preference settings are as follows:
- pageEditLockDuration: the duration in seconds in which the record stays locked after you select Lock
- extendLockInterval: the number of seconds before the expiration time when the extend request is submitted
You might find the default lengths of time for these preferences to be too long and prefer that they be shorter. In particular, if you click Unlock, and the pageEditLockDuration preference is set too high, then the page cannot be unlocked right away.
It might also be possible for you to click Lock and Unlock for a page even though you have only Read-only access.
