In some circumstances, SAS Visual Analytics does not export data from crosstabs and list tables. When you click OK in the Export Data dialog box, no file is created and there are no messages to indicate that a problem has occurred.

This problem occurs when total values are placed at the top of the table, and you do not select the first data item listed in the Export Data dialog box.

There are three workarounds for this issue, depending on your preferences: 

• If you want to exclude the first data item from the exported data, you can move the totals to the bottom of the table before exporting.
• If you want to keep the totals at the top of the table, you can include the first data item in the exported data.
• If you want to exclude the first data item from the exported data and the total values are not required, you can remove the totals from the table before exporting.
