Problem Note 66498: A selected data value reverts to the prior date (-1 day) in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

When you select a date from the calendar icon in a Select node in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, the date shifts back by one day (-1 day) when you click OK.

This problem happens when you perform steps similar to the following:

  1. Change the time zone (for example, change it to UTC +1).

  2. In SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, use a Select node and select a date value (for example, Date of Birth).

  3. Click Select Values.

  4. In the dialog box that is displayed, select a minimum date from the calendar icon (for example, June 24).

  5. Click OK to confirm the date. Once you click OK, the date reverts to one day earlier (in this case, June 23).

This problem occurs only when you select a date from the calendar icon and you change the time zone. However, if you use Eastern Standard Time (UTC-5), the correct date is displayed.

As a workaround, you can enter the date manually.
