If you duplicate controls with parameters, save the report, and then display it in SAS^® Report Viewer, the following error might occur:

This problem occurs only in some scenarios and not every time you duplicate controls in reports.

If you encounter this behavior, use this workaround to address it:

1. Open the affected report in SAS^® Visual Analytics Designer.
2. Select the control that you duplicated.
3. Remove the parameter.
4. Add the parameter in Data Roles.
5. Save the report.
