SAS Visual Analytics 8.5 geo maps might accept only category assignments in the Hidden role. 

This is an important issue because geo map display rules can only be based on data items with an assigned role on the geo map. If measures, including aggregated measures, are needed for display rules or interactions, you must add these measures to the Data Tip role or another role on the geo map.
