Problem Note 66307: You see a null pointer exception message in the Schedule Manager when you initially schedule a flow with Platform Suite for SAS®

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

The Schedule Manager plug-in in SAS® Management Console generates the following error message when you initially schedule a flow with Platform Suite for SAS:

Scheduling of 'flow-name' failed ('java.lang.NullPointerException')

This issue happens only when the current connection (such as a guest account) to Platform Process Manager (PPM) has a null password. When another user with a different password then tries to connect to PPM, the scheduling process fails.

A workaround is to cache the login credentials for DefaultAuth in the metadata for any user who is experiencing this issue.
