Problem Note 66031: PROC METALIB fails with "ERROR: Repository repository-ID is not registered" when table metadata is updated

The METALIB procedure generates the message "Error: Repository repository-ID is not registered" when the following conditions are true:
- An update is being performed on a table that already exists in metadata.
- Differences exist between the current table metadata and the physical table that is linked to that metadata.
- The metadata name of the table that is being updated is greater than 32 characters in length.
Note: This issue can also occur when you select Update Metadata from within SAS® Data Integration Studio or SAS® Management Console.
The only workaround is to reduce the metadata name for the table so that the name does not exceed 32 characters in length.
