Problem Note 66022: The SAS® Environment Manager Server and Agent do not start, and you see the error "Version number may be negative or greater than 255"

The SAS Environment Manager Server and Agent do not start. When you encounter this issue, the wrapper.log file for the server contains messages that are similar to the following:

This issue occurs after you update the SAS Private Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to a minor version that is greater than 255.

To work around this issue, ensure that you complete the steps in the “Post-Installation Instructions” section in Instructions for SAS Private JRE Updates for SAS® 9.4M3 (TS1M3) and Later.
