Problem Note 66021: SAS® Studio 5.2 generates an "Unable to Save. . ." pop-up error message
In both the Basic and Enterprise editions of SAS Studio 5.2, you might see one of the following error pop-up messages.
First error example:
Unable to Save the file program-name.sas
Close
Second error example:
Unable to Save the file
Close
If you click Close, the SAS Studio session stops responding. Closing the browser window is the only way to exit the session.
A possible workaround is to disable document recovery (the autosave function) by taking these steps:
- Select Options ► Preferences ► General.
- In the DOCUMENT RECOVERY OPTIONS section, deselect Enable document recovery.
However, the problem might persist for a .sas file that has been saved automatically.
