In both the Basic and Enterprise editions of SAS Studio 5.2, you might see one of the following error pop-up messages.

If you click Close, the SAS Studio session stops responding. Closing the browser window is the only way to exit the session.

A possible workaround is to disable document recovery (the autosave function) by taking these steps:

1. Select Options ► Preferences ► General.
2. In the DOCUMENT RECOVERY OPTIONS section, deselect Enable document recovery.

However, the problem might persist for a .sas file that has been saved automatically.
