Problem Note 66952: Netezza bulk loading fails with the message "ERROR: External Table: count of bad input rows reached max errors limit"
When you bulk load numeric data to Netezza, you might experience a failure and receive the following error:
ERROR: Error terminating Netezza load: Operation canceled : Unable to write nzlog/bad files : Unable to write nzlog/bad files :
ERROR: External Table : count of bad input rows reached max errors limit
Reviewing the nzlog/bad files reveals the invalid data.
You encounter this error when loading numeric data that is subject to numeric precision issues. For example, the value could be incorrectly loaded as too long for the designated field or incorrectly formatted as scientific notation.
