If you create a report in SAS Visual Analytics that contains a prompt container with multiple controls, then text input controls included in the prompt might appear small. The text input controls might be unusable in the SAS Visual Analytics Report Viewer.

You might encounter this issue if you perform the following steps:

1. Add a prompt container into the page.
2. Add two list controls and a text input and duplicate them four times or more.
3. Set the prompt container in horizontal direction.
4. Assign a parameter for each text input into the prompt container. Note: The text input does not have any category assigned.

In SAS Visual Analytics, text controls are displayed correctly:

However, in the SAS Visual Analytics Report Viewer, the text controls appear small and users cannot enter text in them:

To work around this problem, use one of the following:

• Remove parameters and add category data items instead in text input controls.
• Add category data items in addition to parameters for text input controls.
• Add a title to the text input. This workaround does not address the layout issue in the prompt container. Thus, the text input remains small. However, it does enable you to enter text into the control and use it to filter report objects.
