Problem Note 66770: The message "ERROR: Extension entrypoint could not be found: (tkeora)" might occur after you update your existing installation to SAS® 9.4M7 (TS1M7)

After updating your existing SAS installation to SAS 9.4M7, you might see the following errors when you use a SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Oracle database on a UNIX or Linux system:
WARNING: SQL generation is not possible because incompatible dataset options such as OBS, FIRSTOBS or GENERATION have been specified.
ERROR: Unable to load extension: (tkeora)
ERROR: Extension entrypoint could not be found : (tkeora)
ERROR: Could not load tkeora Extension.

Another option is to complete the following steps to reinstall SAS/ACCESS Interface to Oracle to fix the problem.
- After the update to SAS 9.4M7 is complete, delete the symbolic link: SASHOME/SASFoundation/9.4/sasexe/tkeora.so.
- Reinstall SAS® Foundation: SAS/ACCESS Interface to Oracle product.
- If this is a planned deployment, follow the instructions provided at SAS® 9.4 Administration: Add SAS Products That Do Not Require Configuration.
- If this is not a planned deployment, then follow the instructions below:
- Run the SAS® Deployment Wizard from the order used to perform the upgrade.
- Select Install SAS Software.
- In the Select Products to Install dialog box, select only SAS Foundation.
- In the Select SAS Foundation Products dialog box, select only SAS/ACESS Interface to Oracle.
This procedure checks and reinstalls SAS/ACCESS Interface to Oracle and its dependencies. When the installation process is complete, the binary SASHOME/SASFoundation/9.4/sasexe/tkeora.so file is installed instead of a symbolic link.
Note: If you have not performed the update to SAS 9.4M7, you can avoid the problem by deleting the SASHOME/SASFoundation/9.4/sasexe/tkeora.so file before performing the update.
